About EM IDEALS:
The West Midlands is one of the most diverse regions in the UK, with Birmingham recording more ethnic groups and a larger young population than any other UK city in the latest census, with areas ranging from the most deprived in the UK to the most affluent. Our patients are this population and our workforce needs to be diverse to support the care that these patients need.
This event will examine how diversity affects patient care and how we can support our workforce to be the most diverse in the UK.
Poster competition:
We welcome applications to display an A2 poster from postgraduate trainees, locally employed doctors and ACPs. A certificate and small gift will be awarded to the winning poster for each theme.
Posters may be submitted under the following themes:
1. High quality care for EM patients
2. Supporting workforce diversity and well-being
Space is limited. Abstracts will be selected for quality and application to the respective theme.
Abstract submission by 2 June; decision on acceptance by 8 June.
Submit as an email attachment to [email protected].
